Regular Season Round 16: Talje - Hogland 91-75

Rather predictable result when third ranked Talje Knights (10-3) defeated at home 6th ranked Hogland (6-5) 91-75 on Sunday. Talje Knights dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Hogland's 22. Talje Knights forced 20 Hogland turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Mario Blazevic (180-93) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 assists and center Hampus Ramstedt (202-99) who added 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Four Talje Knights players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Erik Kall (208-1) responded with 8 points, 23 rebounds and 4 blocks and Filip Cantby scored 24 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Talje Knights maintains third position in South with 10-3 record having seven points less than leader KFUM Uppsala. Hogland at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the sixth place with five games lost. Talje Knights will face Hammarby (#5) in Stockholm in the next round. Hogland will play at home against the league's leader RIG Mark and hope to win that game.
