Regular Season Round 17: MBK Ruzomb. - Young Angels 73-72

Third-ranked Young Angels (9-8) made lots of trouble for leader MBK Ruzomberok (17-0) on Saturday. MBK Ruzomberok managed to secure only one-point victory 73-72. However their fans expected easier game. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Young Angels. The best player for the winners was international forward Miroslava Mistinova (182-97) who scored 29 points. The former international Nikola Dudasova (175-95) chipped in 19 points. American center Channon Fluker (193-97, college: CSUN) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and Serbian guard Miljana Bojovic (181-87) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists respectively for the guests. MBK Ruzomberok have an impressive series of seventeen victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 17-0 record. Young Angels at the other side keep the third position with eight games lost. MBK Ruzomberok are again looking forward to face Young Angels (#3) in Kosice in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Young Angels will have a break next round.
