There was no surprise in Hradec Kralove where 8th ranked Loko Trutnov (4-14) was crushed by second ranked Sokol HK (16-3) 90-46 on Saturday. Sokol HK held Loko Trutnov to an opponent 22.5 percent shooting from the field compared to 42.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Sokol HK forced 20 Loko Trutnov turnovers and outrebounded them 57-33 including a 19-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Loko Trutnov's players. Forward Klara Mareckova (185-90) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 17 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international center Petra Kulichova (198-84) chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Sokol HK players scored in double figures. Sokol HK's coach felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American forward Bailee Cotton (185-96, college: Wyoming) with 6 points and 9 rebounds and guard Klara Drbohlavova (171-16) scored 12 points. Sokol HK have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 16-3 record having just one point less than leader USK Praha. Loko Trutnov lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 14 games lost.
