Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Vilsbiburg (10-9) outscored at home 11th ranked Regnitztal (8-11) 100-73 on Sunday. Vilsbiburg dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Regnitztal's 40. Vilsbiburg forced 21 Regnitztal turnovers and outrebounded them 39-22 including 25 on the defensive glass. American swingman Kendall Stafford (193-97, college: N.Alabama) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 17 rebounds, 7 assists and 7 steals for the winners and naturalized American guard Kenny Fluellen (191-90, college: Paine) chipped in 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Vilsbiburg's coach Marc Vilas felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games.
