No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Roma Luiss (13-10) beat on the road 16th ranked Scauri (3-20) 66-59 on Sunday. Swingman Antongiulio Bonaccorso (197-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Mario Tamburrini (188-94) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Roma Luiss players scored in double figures. Roma Luiss' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Nicola Artuso (188-99, agency: Players Group) answered with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Riccardo Murri (-0) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Scauri. Roma Luiss moved-up to fifth place in B. Loser Scauri keeps the sixteenth position with 20 games lost. Roma Luiss will face higher ranked Salerno (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Scauri will play against Pozzuoli V. (#11) and hope to win that game.
