Very important is a home loss of second ranked Jazz (35-22) against fourth ranked Suns (24-34) on Monday night. Host Jazz was crushed by Suns in Salt Lake City 131-111. Suns dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Jazz's 44 and made 21-of-24 charity shots (87.5 percent) during the game. Suns forced 19 Jazz turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Suns players were unselfish on offense dishing 33 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Jazz's players. Spanish guard Ricky Rubio (193-90) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds, 11 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Devin Booker (198-96, college: Kentucky) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 assists. Guard Donovan Mitchell (190-96, college: Louisville) produced 38 points (!!!) and 4 assists and French center Rudy Gobert (216-92) added 13 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Suns and four Jazz players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Suns moved-up to third place. Jazz lost third consecutive game. They keep the second position with 22 games lost.
