Bottom-ranked Academy 2 (0-8) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their eighth consecutive match to fourth ranked Hyundai (5-3) 86-52. The game without a history. Hyundai led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They held Academy 2 to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 47.5 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Academy 2 57-44 including a 46-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hyundai players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Academy 2's players. Guard Levan Qvartskhava (189-2) nailed a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) for the winning side and guard Konstantine Sukhishvili (189-3) accounted for 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Leri Bokuchava came up with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and Ivane Babunashvili added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Academy 2 in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hyundai maintains fourth place with 5-3 record. Academy 2 at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Hyundai's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tbilisi Martve.
