Very important is a road loss of third ranked Polabi (16-6) against fifth ranked Olomouc Bbal (14-8) on Friday night. Visiting Polabi was defeated by Olomouc Bbal in Olomouc 102-88. Olomouc Bbal shot 60.3 percent from the field. They also forced 22 Polabi turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Polabi's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Jiri Dedek (190-95) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Forward Roman Radovskii (195) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Point guard Theodor Dlugos (183-97) replied with 23 points, 6 assists and 4 steals (made all of his seven free throws) and point guard Rostislav Jirak (180-0) added 15 points in the effort for Polabi. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Olomouc Bbal maintains fifth position in Places 1-6 with 14-8 record. Newly promoted Polabi dropped to the fourth place with six games lost. Olomouc Bbal will play against league's second-placed Sokol Pisek on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Polabi will play against SKB Zlin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
