No shocking result in a game when fourteenth ranked Magia Huesca (9-14) defeated at home 17th ranked Real Canoe (5-18) 81-73. It was an exceptional evening for Serbian power forward Vasilije Vucetic (209-96) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Croatian forward David Skara (203-95, college: Clemson) accounted for 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Ander Martinez (199-95, agency: Duran International) came up with 21 points and 7 rebounds and center Jose-Maria Gil (207-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Real Canoe in the defeat. Four Real Canoe players scored in double figures. Real Canoe's coach Miguel Angel Aranzabal let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Magia Huesca moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Granada. Real Canoe lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 18 games lost. Magia Huesca's next round opponent will be higher ranked Melilla Baloncesto (#5) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Real Canoe will play against Marin (#18) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
