Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Swedish RIG Lulea and 13th ranked British London Elite had identical 3-10 record. But London Elite was not able to use a home court advantage and was smashed by the opponent from 67-46 on Saturday night. The game without a history. RIG Lulea led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding London Elite to just 7 points in second quarter. They outrebounded London Elite 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Point guard Elias Hortlund (175-1) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 4 assists. Guard Lowe Samuelsson (183-1) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Guard Matthew Disu (193) answered with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Josua Alimi (190) added 12 points in the effort for London Elite. RIG Lulea (4-10) moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Sandvika BBK. Loser London Elite dropped to the fourteenth position with 11 games lost. RIG Lulea will face bottom-ranked SPB University (#17) in Sankt Petersburg in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. London Elite will play at home against Valmiera/Glass and hope to win that game.
