Regular Season Round 11: TalTech - Sandvika BBK 63-48

Very predictable result when sixth ranked Estonian TalTech (8-6) won against 12th ranked Swedish Sandvika BBK (4-10) in Tallin 63-48 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 63-48. Point guard Janar Aniste (170-0) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 5 rebounds. Center Karl Karpin (211-0) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Norwegian Max Dahl (-2) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Mateusz Nilsen (188-1) added 13 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Sandvika BBK. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory TalTech went down to seventh position due to points difference. Sandvika BBK at the other side keeps the twelfth place with ten games lost. TalTech will face higher ranked Keila KK (#3) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sandvika BBK will play against Liepaja (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
