The game in Sakiai was also quite interesting. Third ranked Silute (25-11) played at the court of 6th ranked Vytis (18-18). Silute managed to secure a 5-point victory 64-59 on Saturday. Silute forced 22 Vytis turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Simonas Serapinas (197-82) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 5 rebounds and the former international forward Modestas Paulauskas (210-95) who added 6 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The former international center Darjus Lavrinovic (212-79) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Paulius Semaska (185-93) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds. Silute maintains third position with 25-11 record having five points less than leader Gargzdu. Loser Vytis keeps the sixth place with 18 games lost. Silute will face Delikatesas (#7) in Joniskis in the next round. Vytis will play on the road against Neptunas-Akv. in Klaipeda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
