Very important is a road loss of third ranked Fyllingen BBK (17-10) against eighth ranked Asker Aliens (8-19) on Saturday night. Visiting Fyllingen BBK was defeated by Asker Aliens in Asker 86-73. Strangely Fyllingen BBK outrebounded Asker Aliens 35-23 including 26 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by American point guard Eric Gilchrese (183-87, college: UNH) who scored that evening 25 points, 8 assists and 5 steals (made all of his seven free throws) and DR Congolese forward Djo Loo-Yele (203-82) supported him with 26 points and 9 rebounds. Gilchrese is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. Asker Aliens' coach Kenneth Webb allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 24 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists by American guard Kenny Carpenter (196-96, college: Cleveland St., agency: Mansfield and Associates) did not help to save the game for Fyllingen BBK. Lithuanian forward Vilius Sumskis (215-84, agency: Interperformances) added 22 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for lost side. Asker Aliens maintains eighth position with 8-19 record. Fyllingen BBK lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the third place with ten games lost. They share the position with Gimle BBK.
