No shocking result in a game in Oakland where third ranked Wizards (22-37) defeated 5th ranked Warriors (13-48) 124-110 on Sunday. Wizards made 24-of-27 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They also forced 21 Warriors turnovers. Strangely Warriors outrebounded Wizards 52-34 including a 18-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 66.7 percentage. Wizards looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Warriors were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Bradley Beal (196-93, college: Florida) fired 34 points (!!!), 8 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Latvian forward Davis Bertans (208-92) chipped in 29 points. Wizards' coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Canadian guard Andrew Wiggins (203-95, college: Kansas) produced 27 points and 6 rebounds and forward Eric Paschall (203-96, college: Villanova) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for lost side. Five Warriors players scored in double figures. Wizards maintains third position with 22-37 record having twenty one points less than leader Toronto R. Loser Warriors keep the fifth place with 48 games lost.
