Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Maristes Ademar (9-11) defeated bottom-ranked Esparreguera (7-13) in Badalona 85-68 on Sunday. Maristes Ademar had a 28-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. Quite impressive performance for forward Marc Hermoso (193-99) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and 9 rebounds. Franc Garcia contributed with 9 points and 9 assists for the winners. Four Maristes Ademar players scored in double figures. Pau Campana (185-96) replied with 16 points and 5 rebounds and forward Ruben Morales (193-85) added 15 points in the effort for Esparreguera. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Maristes Ademar maintains seventh position in Group C-A with 9-11 record. Loser Esparreguera stay at the bottom place with 13 games lost. Maristes Ademar will face higher ranked Quart (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
