Rather expected game when 12th ranked BK Kolin (5-21) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked NH Ostrava (8-18) 97-89 on Wednesday. NH Ostrava looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The best player for the winners was American point guard Josh Newkirk (185-94, college: Indiana) who scored 22 points and 7 assists. The former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Adam Ciz (192-91) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 assists and American center Jailen Gill (203-96, college: UT Martin) added 15 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five NH Ostrava and four BK Kolin players scored in double figures. NH Ostrava moved-up to ninth place in Places 9-12. BK Kolin lost third consecutive game. They stay dead last with 21 lost games. NH Ostrava are looking forward to face Brno (#10) at home in the next round. BK Kolin will play against Kralovsti sokoli and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
