NBA top team - Raptors (44-18) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Warriors (14-49) in Oakland 121-113. Raptors made 28-of-31 charity shots (90.3 percent) during the game. Strangely Warriors outrebounded Raptors 52-39 including a 14-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. Guard Norman Powell (193-93, college: UCLA) orchestrated the victory by scoring 37 points (!!!) (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Point guard Kyle Lowry (183-86, college: Villanova) contributed with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Raptors' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Point guard Stephen Curry (190-88, college: Davidson) replied with 23 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and forward Marquese Chriss (206-97, college: Washington) added 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Warriors. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Defending champion maintains first position with 44-18 record. Warriors at the other side keep the fifth place with 49 games lost.
