Important game to mention about took place in Ramla. Third ranked Ashdod (16-6) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging their biggest opponent Ramla (16-6) 66-64 in the game for the second place. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Ramla. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Crystal Bradford (183-93, college: Cent Michigan) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds. The other American import point guard Chelsea Hopkins (173-90, college: San Diego St., agency: Ron Sport) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Four Ashdod players scored in double figures. American power forward Jillian Alleyne (190-94, college: Oregon, agency: LBM Management) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 18 rebounds and international guard Eden Rotberg (167-98) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Ramla. Ramla's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ashdod have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Ramla. Ashdod will play against Holon (#5) in Holon in the next round. Ramla will play on the road against Hapoel Rishon Le-Zion and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
