Second Stage Round 5: J.Hradec - Prostejov 116-68

1Liga top team - J.Hradec (18-3) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Prostejov (12-10) 116-68. J.Hradec dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Prostejov's 26 and made 24-of-28 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. J.Hradec forced 19 Prostejov turnovers and outrebounded them 41-26 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for J.Hradec especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 37 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Prostejov's players. 25 personal fouls committed by Prostejov helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American point guard Terrell Lipkins (188-91, college: Montevallo) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists. His fellow American import center Jeremy McLaughlin (201-95, college: Catawba) chipped in a double-double by scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds. Five J.Hradec players scored in double figures. E Klepa produced 18 points and forward Lukas Sychra (200-99) added 16 points respectively for the guests. J.Hradec maintains first place in Places 1-6 with 18-3 record. Prostejov at the other side keeps the sixth position with ten games lost. J.Hradec's next round opponent will be SKB Zlin (#4) on the road. Prostejov will play against Polabi and hope to win that game.
