Regular Season Round 26: Levallois - Gravelines 88-63

Everything went according to plan when fourth ranked Levallois (18-7) outscored at home 16th ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (7-18) 88-63 on Friday. American point guard Briante Weber (188-92, college: VCU) scored 13 points, 5 assists and 5 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Venezuelan-American Donta Smith (201-83, college: SE Illinois JC) chipped in 12 points and 5 assists during the contest. Levallois' coach Frederic Fauthoux felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Point guard Benjamin Sene (188-94) responded with 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Darius Morris (193-91, college: Michigan) scored 19 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Levallois maintains fourth position with 18-7 record. Loser Gravelines-Dunkerque dropped to the seventeenth place with 18 games lost. Levallois will face league's second-placed JDA Dijon on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Gravelines-Dunkerque will play against Entente Orleans 45 (#13) and hope to win that game.
