Second Stage Round 3: CPN - GUG 99-85

The biggest surprise of round 3 in Santiago League took place when CPN (2-1) beat GUG (2-1) 99-85 on Friday evening. CPN looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American Ramon Galloway (190-91, college: La Salle) who scored 35 points (!!!) and 7 assists. Ronald Tineo chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Juan Guerrero (201-93) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 rebounds and guard Rigoberto Mendoza (190-92) added 21 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
