The biggest surprise took place in Pitesti where host Pitesti (5-0) beat league's leader Craiova (4-1) 76-72 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Craiova. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Pitesti shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Craiova will play next round against Focsani trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Pitesti will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Galati at home.
