Regular Season Round 27: Pruszkow - STK Czarni 82-76

Very important is a road loss of third ranked STK Czarni (16-8) against eleventh ranked Pruszkow (11-14) on Saturday night. Visiting STK Czarni was defeated by Pruszkow in a tough game in Pruszkow 76-82. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of STK Czarni. Pruszkow forced 19 STK Czarni turnovers. Strangely STK Czarni outrebounded Pruszkow 39-23 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for Mateusz Szczypinski (194-98, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Guard Michal Kierlewicz (194-97) helped adding 16 points. Four Pruszkow players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Wojciech Fras (202-91) with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and Marcin Dutkiewicz (198-86) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Pruszkow moved-up to ninth place. STK Czarni at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Pruszkow will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. STK Czarni will play on the road against Polonia Leszno and hopes to get back on the winning track.
