Second Stage Round 3: Moron - L'Hospitalet 71-47

There was a surprise result when Moron (11-14) rolled over L'Hospitalet (12-13) in Morón de la Frontera 71-47 on Sunday. Moron forced 21 L'Hospitalet turnovers and had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for American forward Adam Dieball (206, college: CBU) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 9 rebounds. British Josh Steel (194-97, college: Duquesne) contributed with 18 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Moron players scored in double figures. Moron's coach Antonio Lopez felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Edgar San-Epifanio (196-87) answered with 13 points and forward Nil Baques (195-98) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for L'Hospitalet. Moron will face Benicarlo (#12) in Castellon in the next round.
