Puerto Montt rallied past CD Valdivia to step closer to the semifinal stage. Puerto Montt dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Deportivo Valdivia's 36. Puerto Montt looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American Durrell Summers (196-89, college: Michigan St.) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Tomas Alvarez (185-89) contributed with 16 points and 5 assists for the winners. American swingman Courtney Fells (197-86, college: NC State) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists and Argentinian center Ignacio Alessio (203-87) added 16 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Deportivo Valdivia. Four Deportivo Valdivia players scored in double figures.
