Third-ranked Blue (20-21) made lots of trouble for second ranked Toros (24-16) in Austin on Sunday. Toros managed to secure only three-point victory 117-114. However their fans expected easier game. Toros forced 19 Blue turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Dedric Lawson (206-97, college: Kansas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field) and Nigerian-American forward Chimezie Metu (211-97, college: USC) who added 22 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Trinidad and Tobago forward Kadeem Jack (206-92, college: Rutgers) responded with 8 points and 21 rebounds and forward Kevin Hervey (206-96, college: UT Arlington) scored 22 points and 5 assists. Five Toros and four Blue players scored in double figures. Blue's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Toros have a solid three-game winning streak.
