Very significant was Raptors' (#1, 46-18) victory against second-best Jazz (40-24) 101-92. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Jazz. Raptors made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Jazz 53-34 including a 39-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Raptors players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by Cameroonian forward Pascal Siakam (206-94, college: N.Mexico St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and Congolese-Spanish power forward Serge Ibaka (208-89) supported him with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Raptors' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by Australian Joe Ingles (203-87) did not help to save the game for Jazz. Point guard Mike Conley (185-87, college: Ohio St.) added 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Jazz players scored in double figures. Raptors have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 46-18 record. Jazz at the other side keeps the second place with 24 games lost. They share the position with OKC Thunder.
