Regular Season Round 23: St-Chamond - Nancy 86-83

The most exciting game of round 23 in the ProB took place in Saint Chamond. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Sluc Nancy (16-7) to fifth ranked Saint Chamond (14-9) 86-83 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sluc Nancy. Saint Chamond made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for power forward Jean-Stephane Rinna (205-83) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 9 rebounds. American forward Paul Carter (204-87, college: UIC, agency: Inception Sports) helped adding 14 points and 6 rebounds. American-Cuban swingman Yunio Barrueta (193-93, college: Barry, agency: Inception Sports) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Enzo Goudou-Sinha (182-98) scored 8 points and 12 assists. Saint Chamond maintains fifth place with 14-9 record. Sluc Nancy at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost. Saint Chamond are looking forward to face league's second-placed Quimper UJAP on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sluc Nancy will play against Olympique Antibes and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
