Fifteenth-ranked Taurages (8-30) gave a tough game to eleventh ranked Palanga (18-20). The visitors from Palanga managed to secure only one-point victory 96-95. However their fans expected much easier game. Palanga dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Taurages' 32. 26 personal fouls committed by Taurages helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American point guard Quincy Taylor (183-91, college: Longwood) saved the victory by scoring 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Mindaugas Reminas (186-86) contributed with 25 points for the winners. Palanga's coach Mindaugas Janiska allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
