Regular Season Round 41: Shiga L-Stars - Alvark T. 60-85

An interesting game for Toyota Alvark (32-9) which played road game in Shiga against 3rd placed Shiga L-Stars (21-20). Second ranked Toyota Alvark had an easy win 85-60. Toyota Alvark outrebounded Shiga L-Stars 33-20 including 22 on the defensive glass. The former international swingman Shohei Kikuchi (191-84) stepped up and scored 11 points and 8 assists for the winners and the former international Daiki Tanaka (191-91) chipped in 20 points. The former international point guard Takumi Saito (172-95) responded with 16 points and the former international guard Yusuke Karino (184-90) scored 18 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Toyota Alvark have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Shiga L-Stars at the other side keep the third place with 20 games lost.
