Bottom-ranked Ankara B. managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the three-game losing streak on Tuesday night. This time newly promoted Ankara B. won against fourteenth-ranked Duzce Belediye 82-78. Ankara B. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Terrell Carter-II (208, college: Fresno St., agency: Haylett Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import guard Desi Washington (188-92, college: St.Peter's) who added 17 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four Ankara B. players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Lamonte Bearden (190-95, college: WKU) with 21 points and 5 assists and swingman Gokturk Ural (196-95) scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Ankara B. (5-19) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Samsun. Loser Duzce Belediye keeps the fourteenth position with 18 games lost. Ankara B. will meet higher ranked Merkezefendi (#3) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Duzce Belediye will play against the league's leader Socar Petkim (#1) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
