Another interesting game for Sturgeons (1-0) which played in Beijing against Royal Fighters (0-1). Sturgeons had an easy win 121-108. Sturgeons forced 19 Royal Fighters turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Royal Fighters were plagued by 32 personal fouls down the stretch. The former international Zhelin Wang (214-94) had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Ty Lawson (180-87, college: UNC) chipped in 36 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 5 steals during the contest. American point guard Kyle Fogg (190-90, college: Arizona) responded with 32 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import center Arnett Moultrie (208-90, college: Mississippi St.) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds. Five Royal Fighters players scored in double figures. Royal Fighters' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
