Regular Season Round 22: H.Jerusalem - Rishon 84-78

Date: June 21, 2020
An interesting game for Hapoel Jerusalem (18-4) which hosted in Jerusalem one of their biggest challengers Rishon (13-9). Second ranked Hapoel Jerusalem managed to get a 6-point victory 84-78. Hapoel Jerusalem outrebounded Rishon 48-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Dominican-American James Feldeine (193-88, college: Quinnipiac) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. International power forward Idan Zalmanson (206-95) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. American guard DAngelo Harrison (193-93, college: St.John's, agency: 3Eye) replied with 17 points and 6 rebounds and his fellow American import power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: GMU) added 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Rishon. Five Hapoel Jerusalem and four Rishon players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hapoel Jerusalem have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 18-4 record having just two points less than leader Maccabi T-A. Rishon at the other side keeps the third place with nine games lost. Hapoel Jerusalem are again looking forward to face Rishon (#3) in Rishon Le-Zion in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rishon will have a break next round.
