Regular Season Round 2: Perry Lakes H. - Warwick S. 85-83

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Senators (1-1) in Floreat on Friday night. Visitors were edged by Hawks (2-0) 85-83. Guard Mitchell Clarke (185-99) notched a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Robert Cassir (195-91) supported him with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds by forward Caleb Davis (206-95, college: SVSU) did not help to save the game for Senators. American guard Justin King (196-89, college: TRU) added 17 points for the guests. Five Senators players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Hawks will meet at home Redbacks (#7) in the next round where they are favorite. Senators will play against Slammers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
