Finals Game 1: Maccabi T-A - Rishon 86-81

Maccabi Tel-Aviv are crowned Winner League champions. They outgunned Maccabi Rishon Le-Zion in the championship game tonight. They took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Rishon won third quarter 23-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Rishon 40-27 including 28 on the defensive glass. Maccabi T-A looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Liberian-American center Othello Hunter (203-86, college: Ohio St., agency: David Lee Services) fired 16 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. American power forward Amare Stoudemire (208-82) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Maccabi T-A players scored in double figures. Deni Avdija was named the MVP after the game. American guard DAngelo Harrison (193-93, college: St.John's, agency: 3Eye) produced 38 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international Oz Blayzer (200-92) added 13 points respectively for lost side.
