Regular Season Round 6: Saskatchewan - Edmonton 66-88

Leader Edmonton delivered the fourth victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Saskatchewan (1-3) 88-66 in Saskatoon. Edmonton dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Saskatchewan's 26. Edmonton forced 20 Saskatchewan turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for American guard Xavier Moon (188-95, college: Morehead St., agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). DR Congolese-Canadian guard Mathieu Kamba (196-95, college: Cent Arkansas, agency: Dynamics Global Management) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Point guard Kemy Osse (185-93, college: UALR) replied with 15 points and guard Rashawn Browne (186, college: Manitoba, agency: Interperformances) added 7 points and 6 assists in the effort for Saskatchewan. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Edmonton have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-1 record. Saskatchewan lost third consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the bottom place with three games lost. They share the position with Niagara. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
