Regular Season Round 140: LA Clippers - Phoenix Suns 115-117

A very close game took place in Los Angeles between Suns and Clippers. Fourth ranked Suns (29-39) got a very close victory on the road over second-ranked Clippers (45-21). Suns managed to escape with a 2-point win 117-115 on Tuesday evening. Suns shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Devin Booker (198-96, college: Kentucky) who helped to win the game recording 35 points (!!!) and 8 assists and Bahamas center DeAndre Ayton (216-98, college: Arizona) who added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Forward Kawhi Leonard (201-91, college: San Diego St.) responded with 27 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Paul George (206-90, college: Fresno St.) scored 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Five Suns and four Clippers players scored in double figures. Clippers' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Suns have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Clippers keep the second position with 21 games lost.
