Semi-Finals Game 1: Edmonton - Ottawa 88-75

Edmonton advanced into the Summer Series Final as they overcame Ottawa. The game without a history. Edmonton led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. DR Congolese-Canadian guard Mathieu Kamba (196-95, college: Cent Arkansas, agency: Dynamics Global Management) stepped up and scored 26 points for the winners and swingman Jordan Baker (201-91, college: Alberta) chipped in 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side guard Olivier Hanlan (193-93, college: Boston Coll., agency: Wasserman) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Eritrean-Canadian guard Johnny Berhanemeskel (188-92, college: Ottawa) scored 16 points and 7 assists. Four Ottawa players scored in double figures. Ottawa's coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game.
