Portland Trail Blazers advanced into NBA playoffs. They held off Memphis Grizzlies in the play-in series to seal their 2020 playoffs berth. Trail Blazers made 35-of-41 free shots (85.4 percent) during the game, while Grizzlies only scored eighteen points from the stripe. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Trail Blazers made 7 blocks. 25 personal fouls committed by Grizzlies helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Bosnian-Slovenian center Jusuf Nurkic (213-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 21 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Damian Lillard (190-90, college: Weber St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 assists (made all of his fourteen free throws !!!) for the winners. Guard Ja Morant (190-99, college: Murray St.) answered with 35 points (!!!) and 8 assists and Lithuanian center Jonas Valanciunas (213-92) added 22 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Grizzlies. Four Trail Blazers and five Grizzlies players scored in double figures.
