Mavericks looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Clippers were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Slovenian guard Luka Doncic (201-99) who scored 28 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Latvian power forward Kristaps Porzingis (221-95) chipped in 23 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Kawhi Leonard (201-91, college: San Diego St.) produced a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and Louis Williams (185-86) added 23 points and 7 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest.
