Raptors dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Nets' 28. They outrebounded Nets 56-42 including a 48-33 advantage in defensive rebounds. Raptors looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists. The best player for the winners was Cameroonian forward Pascal Siakam (206-94, college: NM State) who scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Congolese-Spanish power forward Serge Ibaka (208-89) chipped in a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Tyler Johnson (193-92, college: Fresno St.) who recorded 23 points and guard Caris LeVert (201-94, college: Michigan) added 15 points and 6 assists respectively. Five Raptors and four Nets players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
