Raptors dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Nets' 40. They outrebounded Nets 57-44 including a 45-32 advantage in defensive rebounds. Raptors looked well-organized offensively handing out 39 assists comparing to just 21 passes made by Nets' players. Quite impressive performance for Congolese-Spanish power forward Serge Ibaka (208-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Cameroonian forward Pascal Siakam (206-94, college: NM State) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists for the winners. Five Raptors players scored in double figures. Guard Caris LeVert (201-94, college: Michigan) replied with 35 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Jarrett Allen (211-98, college: Texas) added 8 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Nets. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
