Regular Season Round 1: Sokol Vyseh. - Loko Plzen 75-89

Quite upsetting was Sokol Vyseh.'s home defeat in a game versus Loko Plzen 89-75. Loko Plzen dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Sokol Vyseh.'s 14. They outrebounded Sokol Vyseh. 39-17 including a 28-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Point guard Vaclav Honomichl (186-92) fired 27 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Guard Jan Zeman (197-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 14 rebounds. Four Loko Plzen players scored in double figures. Guard David Chaloupka (190-98, college: NNMC) produced 26 points (made all of his seven free throws) and forward Tomas Mraz (190-1) added 6 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Loko Plzen will meet at home Sojky P. in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Sokol Vyseh. will play against USK Praha B and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
