Leader Senators delivered the twelfth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 7th ranked Flames (7-6) 126-94 in Perth. Senators shot 63.9 percent from the field. They also forced 20 Flames turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 54.1 percentage. Senators looked well-organized offensively handing out 39 assists comparing to just 25 passes made by Flames' players. The former international forward Cody Ellis (202-90, college: St.Louis) scored 30 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Sudanese forward Ngor Manyang (200-93) chipped in 24 points (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) during the contest. Senators' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side guard Jackson Hussey (190-92, college: Pikeville) responded with 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Travis Durnin (201-98) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Senators maintains first position in League with 12-1 record. Loser Flames dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
