Very predictable result in Hamilton Hill where second ranked Hawks (11-2) outscored 9th ranked Cougars (5-8) 112-82 on Saturday. Hawks shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 51.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Forward Bailey Cole-Heath (202-97) fired 24 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Guard Ryan Smith (192-92) chipped in 19 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Swingman Gavin Field (202-89, college: UWG) produced 12 points and 8 assists and guard Jacob Polglase (190, college: Carthage) added 13 points respectively for lost side. Four Cougars players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hawks maintains second position in League with 11-2 record having just twenty four point less than leader BA CoE. Loser Cougars keep the ninth place with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
