Regular Season Round 3: Gipuzkoa - Burgos 77-90

Everything went according to plan in San Sebastian where Burgos (2-1) beat Gipuzkoa (0-2) 90-77 on Sunday. It was a great evening for American-Georgian guard Thaddus McFadden (188-87, college: Fairmont St., agency: Higher Vision Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 22 points. Cuban power forward Jasiel Rivero (204-93, agency: Pro Sports) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). The best for the losing side was American point guard Johnny Dee (183-92, college: San Diego) with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Colombian center Jaime Echenique (211-97, college: Wichita St.) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Burgos will face Zaragoza (#9) on the road in the next round. Gipuzkoa will play against FC Barcelona (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
