Another exciting game where Politechnika Gd. edged by one point Trefl 2 Sopot 63-62. Politechnika Gd. forced 22 Trefl 2 Sopot turnovers. Center Mateusz Kulis (208-99) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Adam Wasowicz (186-98) contributed with 15 points and 4 assists for the winners. Politechnika Gd.'s coach Bartlomiej Perzanowski allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Forward Daniel Ziolkowski (195-2) replied with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Lukasz Klawa (203-1) added 20 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) in the effort for Trefl 2 Sopot. Politechnika Gd. will play against Astoria 2 in Bydgoszcz in the next round. Trefl 2 Sopot will play on the road against Koszalin Zak to get more than just one victory in their record.
