Shimane Magic looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The former international forward Yusei Sugiura (196-95) stepped up and scored 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and American forward DeMon Brooks (202-92, college: Davidson) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds. Shimane Magic's coach Yukinori Suzuki felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side point guard Shunto Murakami (183-96) responded with 17 points and American center Will Creekmore (205-89, college: Missouri St.) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Shimane Magic will have a break next round. Shiga L-Stars will play again at home against Shimane Magic and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
