Regular Season Round 2: Ockelbo - Kalmar 82-93

No shocking result in a game when Kalmar defeated on the road Ockelbo 93-82. Kalmar dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Ockelbo's 30 and made 31-of-38 charity shots (81.6 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Ockelbo 47-36 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Ockelbo was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. Slovenian Jan Tratnik (190-89) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists. Center Tobias Sjoberg (205-97, college: Marist) contributed with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Kalmar players scored in double figures. American forward Jaylen McManus (201-97, college: Charleston) replied with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and Max Sundberg (195-99) added 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Ockelbo. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kalmar will play against RIG Mark in Kinna in the next round where they are favorite. Ockelbo will have a break next round.
