Host Thor AK was smashed by Keflavik 94-74. The game without a history. Keflavik led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Thor AK's 26 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Thor AK 51-19 including a 40-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Keflavik looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists. Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and British forward Deane Williams (203-96, college: Augusta, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 23 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. American point guard Dedrick Basile (178-94, college: CSUB) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 assists and point guard Julius Agustsson (190-1) scored 28 points and 6 steals. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
